Applying Vinyl Stickers
Instructions for use for applying your personalized Vinyl stickers:
Step 1: Preparation
- Make sure that the surface on which you want to apply the vinyl sticker is clean, dry and free of grease. Clean the surface with a mild detergent and allow it to dry completely before starting.
Step 2: Sticker selection
- Choose the desired personalized Vinyl Sticker and make sure it matches the surface you want to apply it to. Consider the size and shape of the sticker.
Step 3: Positioning
- Carefully place the Vinyl Sticker on the surface and determine the exact position where you want it. If necessary, use a light pencil mark to mark the position without damaging the surface.
Step 4: Removing the backing
- Take the Vinyl Sticker in your hands and carefully remove the paper backing on the back. Do this slowly to ensure the sticker doesn't stick to itself.
Step 5: Applying the sticker
- Carefully place the Vinyl Sticker on the surface, starting from the marked point or edge you have determined. Use your fingers or a soft cloth to smooth the sticker and remove any air bubbles.
Step 6: Smooth out the sticker
- Rub the entire surface of the Vinyl Sticker firmly with a plastic card or similar tool. This ensures that the sticker adheres well to the surface and prevents air bubbles.
Step 7: Remove the transfer film
- If your Vinyl Sticker has a transfer film, gently and slowly peel it off the sticker. Do this at a 45 degree angle. Make sure that the sticker sticks to the surface and does not rise.
Step 8: Check
- Check the Vinyl Sticker for any air bubbles, wrinkles or irregularities. If you see any air bubbles, gently puncture them with a needle and smooth out the sticker.
Step 9: Drying time
- Now allow the Vinyl Sticker to dry completely before using the surface again. This may take several hours depending on environmental conditions.
Important tips:
- Do not apply Vinyl Stickers to newly painted surfaces or surfaces with paint that has not yet fully cured.
- Avoid exposing the sticker to extreme heat or moisture for 24 hours after application.
- Carefully remove the Vinyl Sticker if you want to replace it or no longer need it. Use a hair dryer to slightly heat the sticker to reduce its adhesive strength.
Follow these steps carefully to ensure that your personalized Vinyl Sticker is applied neatly and permanently to the desired surface.
